Frequently asked questions

How long will it take to accept my claim?

In many cases, we are able to review and progress claims shortly after our initial call, subject to the information and evidence provided.

Will I get evicted if I make a claim?

No. Council and housing association tenants are protected from being evicted simply for raising a genuine housing disrepair claim. Your rights as a tenant remain in place, and making a claim should not affect your tenancy.

How long does a claim take?

There is no fixed timeframe, as each claim depends on factors such as the nature of the disrepair, the landlord’s response, and whether court proceedings are required. However, many claims are resolved within a few months from start to finish.

Why should I choose you?

It's simple. We have over a decade of experience when dealing with housing disrepair issues and our job is to fight for the maximum amount of compensation you are entitled too.

What is a No Win No Fee Agreement?

A No Win No Fee agreement is a conditional fee funding arrangement. Under this type of agreement, a firm’s legal fees are payable only if your claim is successful. You will be informed in writing of all potential costs, including any success fee percentage, VAT treatment and any circumstances in which you might be liable for additional costs if the claim is unsuccessful.
